Commissioning Artists

What does it mean to commission artists?

Commissioning is a personalized service that allows you to collaborate with talented artists and request custom artwork tailored to your specific needs. Stills is the exclusive licensing partner of every artist we represent and provides direct access to each of the artists on our platform for you to find exactly what you are looking for.

If you want to work with one of our photographers on a custom project - please reach out to our Licensing Team and we can help get you in contact to get your project scheduled.

Did you know?

Connecting with any artist on Stills is very easy. Just head to the artist's page and click the "Commission Artist" button next to their name!

How long does the commissioning process usually take?

We will connect with you within 24 business hours after your commission request to further discuss the timeline and details of your project.

The duration of the commissioning process can vary depending on the complexity of the artwork, the artist's availability, and the scope of your project. Typically, it may take anywhere from a week to several weeks to complete the commissioned artwork. It's best to discuss specific timelines with the artist during the initial communication to set appropriate expectations for your project.
